We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. The Data Scientist will be responsible for analysing large and complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Statistics, Mathematics, and Machine Learning, as well as experience in programming languages like Python or R. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including AI Developers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Business Analysts, to design, develop, and implement Machine Learning models and algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse large and complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business decisions.
- Develop and implement Machine Learning models and algorithms using programming languages like Python or R.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop end-to-end Machine Learning systems.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
- Communicate insights and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Machine Learning and Data Science technologies.
- Identify and solve technical and operational issues related to data quality, data integration, and data privacy.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Science or related field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Strong understanding of Statistics, Mathematics, and Machine Learning.
- Experience with Machine Learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision (CV).
- Experience with Cloud-based Machine Learning services like AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, or Google Cloud AI Platform.
- Experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI.
