Our client is a fast-growing 3PL startup looking for highly-motivated, proactive individuals to join our expanding team.
We are looking for a Customer Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with their customers. Customer Account Managers will work together, with each other and operations, as a team to deliver an incredible experience for the customers every day.
Daily Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and serve as the lead point of contact for customer account management matters
- Communicate with customers (via in-person meetings, calls, texts, emails, etc.), answer queries, and handle challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Develop strong relationships with customers to improve the entire customer experience
- Take ownership of the entire customer account
- Maintain inventory process including accepting and inspecting customers’ inventory and returns, communicating the arrival and any exception to the inventory to the customer, and accepting and maintaining track of the inventory into our system
- Facilitating the picking and packing process, including receiving and ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customers’ orders, quality assurance checks, and creating and printing shipping labels as per customers’ needs
- Performing other duties as required to ensure day-to-day operations are running efficiently and in a timely manner
- Performing to the standards that we have developed to drive operational excellence

- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and managing a team of warehouse resources
- Having proper time management skills to be able to multi-task
- Keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Being effective in providing a resolution to the customer queries and issues and being consistent with follow ups to ensure complete and timely resolution
- Ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities

Candidate Preferences:
- Must be 18 or older
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field preferred but not required
- Willing to work scheduled shifts including overtime, and/or weekends as required, based on business needs
- Consistently arrive to work on time
- Proficient in email, G-suite and ability to learn a WMS system
- Must be comfortable and able to stand for long hours and lift heavy items as needed
