Full service engineering firm with tradition and reputation that goes back over 40 years looking to add a Senior Construction Project Manager to their Novi office!
Responsibilities:
- Lead construction engineering team and manage all Michigan construction engineering activities
- Manage/administer MDOT and/or local agency road and bridge construction projects
- Organize/coordinate project meetings
- Recruit/mentor construction inspection and project administration staff
- Daily oversight of construction engineering team (assign tasks, review work product, and prepare performance appraisals)
- Provide technical resolutions to complex and contractual project related issues
- Assist senior management with business development
- Develop/monitor project budgets and report updates to senior management
- Monitor sub consultant progress/performance including reviewing and approving vendor invoices
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- P.E. license
- 6+ years of MDOT construction project management experience
- Knowledge of MDOT project administration and documentation requirements
- Experience supervising construction inspection/administrative teams
- Proficient in the use of Field Manager and ProjectWise software
- Proficient in MS Office software
