Responsibilities:

• Program, setup and operate 3 and 5 axis modern vertical machining centers.
  
• Knowledge/experience with Mastercam or Delcam CAM software.
  
• Critical attention to detail holding tight tolerances.
  
• Clear communication with shop personnel.
  
• Excellent computer literacy.
  
• The ability to interrogate solid models and detailed prints.
  
• Time conscientious on task hours assigned.
  
• Efficient machine setups and time management.
  
• Efficient tool path strategies.
  
• Knowledge of the latest cutting tool technology.
  
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, team centered work environment.
  

Requirements

• At least 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  
• Excellent in blueprint reading
  
• Excellent mathematical skills
  
• Editing/writing programs a plus
  
• High attention to details and self-motivated
  
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  
• Ability to use all types of measuring tools
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  
• Cooperative team player and positive attitude a must
