This position will assist the CLIA Laboratory Certification manager with responding to queries regarding Clinical Laboratory applications, change requests, inputting applications into a Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) database for laboratories, and assisting with preparation of survey material for the The individual will also be responding to calls, emails, and in person requests
Skills Required:Written and verbal communication Ability to effectively utilize standard Office Suite (Microsoft or Google) and Adobe programs to complete tasks Ability to read references related to CLIA to assist clients and the public
Experience Required:Experience with Office Suite as mentioned above and at least 2 years of experience working in an office environment responding to inquiries
Experience Preferred:Preference for individuals that have worked in a physician/medical office, laboratory or other healthcare setting with awareness of clinical/medical terminology
Education Required:Minimum high school degree or GED
Education Preferred:Prefer an individual with a healthcare certificate or at least a couple of years of higher education (general, lab science or public health, ). If 2 year or greater degree, waive experience requirement listed above
