Our client is seeking a results-driven CFO with strong business acumen and dynamic leadership skills to work at a high growth company, in a rapidly emerging The CFO will be responsible for all aspects of the Company s finance and accounting division reporting to the companys CEOand occasionally to the Board of Directors / Audit
  • Ensure Financial Statements and MD&A are completed under IFRS on a timely basis as required under the TSX reporting time frames
  • Responsible for all accounting under IFRS, accounting systems, consolidation, and audit
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with National Instrument 52-109
  • Optimize and develop the finance & accounting team (hire, manage, develop)
  • Create and implement an in-depth annual budgeting process including budget analysis and comparisons
  • Oversee and complete the monthly management Ensure that the Senior Management team is provided with timely and accurate financial
  • Responsible for all financing activities, including the optimal available financial opportunities are
  • Management of Accounts Payable and working capital process to ensure timely & accurate Ensure a process where invoices are formally approved within policy
  • Maximize interest on our cash balance within investment policy requirements and recommend the best course of
  • Develop close working relationships with key personnel working at the cultivation facilities ensuring the accounting systems are aligned with reporting requirements ( inventory-accounting). Identify gaps and risks within the facilities accounting
  • Review of Company capital requirements and internal projects under ROI Work with COO and other department heads to identify, analyze and recommend capital investments that benefit the Company s internal rate of return and cash
  • Analyze the company s risk profile (both at corporate, and the facilities) and make recommendations to the senior management team to address areas of
  • Negotiate the best terms with the external services under the scope of the CFO (audit, legal, insurance).
  • Provide detailed sales product financial analysis to management to understand the key drivers of the company s products, as in which products deliver the highest economic returns, turnover ratios, unit costs, and lowest percent of Information to be developed and implemented into management

Requirements

  • CPA
  • 10+ years of finance and accounting
  • 5+ years of working at a TSXV/TSX listed issuer with relevant financial reporting,
  • Audit and ICFR
  • 5+ years of experience with cannabis, CPG and/or
  • Knowledgeable, intelligent, articulate &
  • Diligent, driven, results-oriented, bottom-line
