Position Description
Federal and state Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)/Small Business laws, rules, policies, and regulations and small business development Effective community outreach Cultural diversity, DBE/Small Business or other related government Project development, delivery, and project management This position will support the (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) DBE Certification Program and the DBE Compliance The expectations of this position will be to effectively demonstrate administrative proficiency related to the federal requirements of DBE Certification for Agency and other members of the Unified Certification Program (UCP). Implementation of certification program compliance evaluating all applicable federal program Monitor certification systems to ensure their effectiveness by auditing files for reporting in the reporting system, evaluate data to ensure accurate and timely documents are on file, ensure annual update requirements have been complied and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders to include resolving certification issues and establishing and integrating best This position will also perform complex contract management activities related to DBE and OJT Compliance on Agency federally funded Maintain contracts in the DBE and OJT Reporting system and send notifications of contract award to contractors and field Verify the monthly payment reporting activities for compliance on each assigned project and conduct Assist with oversight and monitoring activities by ensuring DBE compliance in construction and professional service Conduct reviews and audits by investigating the performance and management of work for each DBE on federally funded Other duties as assigned as related to the

Skills Required
Knowledge of federal and local government workforce Ability to communicate verbally with internal and external customers and stakeholders, problem solve, compile data and reports, and develop procedures and Ability to research, develop, implement and monitor a federally mandated program in coordination with multiple external partners and agencies

Skills Preferred
