Responsibilities:

• Ensures all equipment is returned to the department and all malfunctioning equipment is reported
• Responsible for proper storage of all equipment
• Ensures kitchen workers have and use the proper equipment necessary for the job
• Ensures that all equipment functions properly
• Carries out vessel and equipment cleaning, maintenance, and painting duties
• Where appropriate, assists in loading, unloading, discharging, or receipt of any and all equipment, supplies, and cargo
• Ensures that all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment are used in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
• Responsible for inspecting equipment and advising management of repairs and replacements necessary in assigned areas and is accountable for cleanliness and overall condition of the public areas, restrooms and offices
• Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas including all related assigned bar equipment, tools, supplies, trash removal, deep cleaning, sanitation and work area, to include cleaning refrigerators, countertops, and mopping floors
• Clean dishwasher and drains
