This is a remote position.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Data Architect with a deep understanding of designing & implementing data engineering solutions on AWS cloud and experience with report development.
Minimum Years of Experience: 8-10 years.
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, Computer Science
Degree Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science or another related technical field.
Knowledge Preferred: Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:.
Designing Architecture solutions using AWS services for solving complete data engineering/reporting requirements
Building workflows, and diagrams to show the integration between systems/applications
Worked in a cloud environment (AWS)
Experienced in handling structured, semi-structured and unstructured data
Experienced in the Integration of data from multiple data sources (Relational, API, Web Service, XML, Flat File)
Experienced in PySpark, Python
Should have strong expertise in any one Relation database (SQL server/Postgres etc)
Should have a working knowledge of Non-relational databases (preferred MongoDB)
Exposure to orchestration tools like AWS Glue, AWS EMR
Proficient in Lambda Architecture, knowledge about its advantages and disadvantages
Proficient in creating documentation related to Project Architecture, Project end User Manual and Operations Hand guide
Should be able to analyze technical issues and provide robust solutions
Should have a good understanding of Data Migration processes, methods, and project lifecycle
Skills Preferred: Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
Must have experience working with Agile Methodologies
Refine requirements, self-identify solutions and communicate with the team;
Troubleshoot and solve issues as they arise, with great attention to detail.
AWS glue, pyspark, python, XML, flat_file, SQL, postgres, etc
