Assistant Professor Occupational Therapy

Abilene Christian University is seeking an outgoing individual who will support our innovative and community centered programs for a full time 9 month tenure track position for the Occupational Therapy program in the College of Health of Behavioral Sciences. Preferred candidates should have experience with scholarship and research and experience in teaching and mentoring students at the graduate level. Preferred qualifications include educational and clinic experience in Pediatrics. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy or related field(PhD, EdD, ScD, post-professional OTD). Position will be filled at either the assistant or associate rank dependent on credentials. Job responsibilities include implementing curriculum for the OTD, scholarly work and participation in university and School service as is relevant to that role. The Department of Occupational Therapy currently offers an entry level Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree and has been granted candidacy status to also provide entry-level doctorate education. Applicants should be prepared to work within both programs. These are residential programs with a small online component.
