Manage the protection of documents from the time of filing through indexing, binding, storage and use in archive room.
Preserve records, documents, and objects as necessary.
Create and maintain accessible, retrievable computer archives and databases.
Establish and administer policy guidelines concerning public access and use of materials.
Organize archival records and develop classification systems to facilitate access to archival materials.
Ensure the correct filing, archiving and efficient management of the documentation of the Programme, both in paper and electronic format.
Take care of the messaging and protocol systems of the PMU.
Collaborate with the Programme Team Leader, Financial Administrative Coordinator and the PMU personnel in any other clerical work task.
Carrying out any other duties and activities requested by the Team Leader of the Programme and the
PMU staff.
Requirements
-Bachelor s University degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Languages, Political Science and Law or similar field of studies.
-Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in archivist and clerk activities.
- Proficient in using computers including Microsoft Office programs, spreadsheet, email (outlook) and internet.
- Arabic native speaker.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken (B1 European Level).
- University degree in Agriculture, Hydraulic Engineering - Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience working in the field of infrastructures for agriculture, rural development, food security, irrigation in the framework of development programmes. - Solid experience in food security, Good Agriculture Practices (GAPs), irrigation systems and infrastructures. - Previous experience in effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, government, donors, and implementing partners. - Proficient in using computers including Microsoft Office programs, spreadsheets, email (outlook) and Internet.
