Job Summary
Massachusetts State Inspector Automotive
Starting at $17 /hr (Based on Experience) Weekly Production Bonus

Schedule: MondayFriday No Nights or Weekends
Marcotte Ford a family-owned dealership serving the Holyoke community is looking for a Massachusetts State Inspector to join our service team.
This position is responsible for operating and maintaining our state inspection bay performing inspections according to Massachusetts regulations and helping keep our service department running efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Perform Massachusetts vehicle inspections including:
- Non-commercial inspections
- Commercial inspections
- 7D inspections
- Uber/Lyft inspections
- Interpret and apply Massachusetts state inspection standards
- Document inspection results accurately
- Maintain the inspection bay and inspection equipment
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
- 2 years of automotive experience required
- 2 years of Massachusetts State Inspection experience preferred
- Valid Massachusetts State Inspector License required
- 7D and Commercial Inspector License is a plus
- Positive and professional attitude
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Ability to stand kneel or squat throughout the workday
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
