Primary Responsibilities:
- Independently partner with operations leadership in a fastpaced highprecision manufacturing environment by providing expert guidance on policy application performance expectations workforce management and organizational decisions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to supervisors and managers offering coaching supporting effective communication and resolving complex employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Maintain strong visibility and engagement with hourly and salaried employees to build trust reinforce expectations and support an inclusive and respectful workplace.
- Identify workplace concerns proactively recommend appropriate solutions and support leaders in driving a productive accountable and stable workforce environment.
- Provide advanced guidance on ADA FMLA accommodations harassment prevention discrimination corrective actions progressive discipline and performance improvement strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with federal state and local employment laws and maintain accurate documentation aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
- Foster continuous learning and development within the HR function by promoting knowledge sharing coaching team members and encouraging collaborative problemsolving.
- Strengthen trust and communication across HR operations and the workforce by assisting with recognition programs retirements service anniversaries pay concerns leave and benefits administration time and attendance onboarding and exit interviews.
- Support recruiting and workforce planning by participating in interviews and ensuring staffing levels align with production needs and business goals.
- Partner with the operations safety and quality teams by supporting investigations corrective actions and communication of safety initiatives across all levels of the organization.
- Conduct interviews and screening for positions within assigned business areas ensuring selection decisions support longterm workforce and operational success.
- Administer step progression program including reviewing employee eligibility for advancement coordinating necessary documentation and facilitating progression partnership with operations leadership
- Conduct exit interviews and provide recommendations to leadership that support retention and improve workplace culture.
- Provide employees with thoughtful guidance on career goals development pathways and advancement opportunities and assist leaders with individualized development planning.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with EEO Affirmative Action and all applicable federal state and local employment regulations while supporting an environment of fairness consistency and inclusion.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or MBA in Human Resources Business or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience considered with an emphasis in HR preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience in a complex or fastpaced environment required.
- SHRMCP/SCP or HRCI certification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively and communicate clearly with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization demonstrating strong business acumen and understanding of operational demands.
- Strong working knowledge of Federal and State labor and employment laws including ADA and EEOC regulations.
- Proficiency in HR systems along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe products. Workday experience highly preferred.
- Broad understanding of HR functions emerging HR trends and best practices across talent management compliance employee relations and workforce development.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication with the ability to deliver clear guidance documentation and recommendations.
- Willingness and ability to work in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment including spending significant time on the production floor to support employees and operations effectively.
