Building Services Coordinator

Overview:

The Building Services Coordinator must perform the duties as outlined in specific duties and responsibilities in support of ESD Main Buildings and Cottage Maintenance operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain most of the daily files for the ESD Main Buildings Maintenance Manager and the Cottage Maintenance Supervisor.
• Initiate write up process and maintain a record of purchase orders for supplies and repairmen as needed for main buildings and cottage maintenance operations.
• Perform purchasing functions such as maintaining price records obtaining competitive prices and ordering supplies and equipment by telephone for main buildings and cottage maintenance operations.
• Perform daily clerical functions for main buildings and cottage maintenance such as answering telephone email communications creating work orders on WorksHub maintaining and retaining files logs and other records as required by the State Board of Health Department Life Safety and State Fire Marshal.
• Liaison for contractors and vendors for main building and cottages.
• Gather information for various reports for ESD main buildings and cottage maintenance.
• Answer telephone and relay messages as needed for ESD Main Buildings Maintenance Manager and Cottage Supervisor.
• Performs billing functions for main buildings and cottage maintenance operations
• Assist the Cottage Maintenance Supervisor in preparation and moving of residents assisting with actual move as needed.
• Clean Cottage Clubhouse when needed.
• Confidentiality of residents and records MUST BE upheld at all times.
• Knowledge of Main buildings and cottages.
• May be assigned other duties

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have knowledge of Microsoft Word Outlook & Excel Processing software the internet and have ability and willingness to learn and use if any other software applications pertaining to this position.
• The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50/75 pounds.
