You will support loss prevention efforts assist shoppers and store teams with clear communication and document observations to help protect people and property. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to the retail location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents customer concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with store leadership and local first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors receiving areas back-of-house spaces and the perimeter to help to deter theft loitering and/or other policy violations.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas assisting with access control and observing for unusual activity while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete reports and required documentation for incidents observations and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
