What Will You Get To Do:
- Define new product concepts
- Assist in development of new product protocol
- Assist with the development of the product design and functionality including but not limited to: Solid Model design work specification of materials structural analysis and testing programs
- Compile and analyze operational test and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products
- Implement the product design within the schedule and budget parameters
- Analyze the risks of a design or process and communicate results
- Provide support to manufacturing to ensure products are fabricated and assembled based on the intended functionality of the design
- Support value engineering and cost savings initiatives for existing product designs to refine and ensure design intent and functionality
- Develop and maintain procedures and processes that support business requirements
- Communicate with others in the organization and customers to jointly determine customer needs and solutions
- Generate effective written and oral communication to support execute and document project activities
- Maintain records for patent and IP protection
- Initiate and review all cost estimates drawings and Engineering Change Notice/Engineering Change Order (ECN/ECO) associated with assigned projects
What Will You Bring:
- Work Experience: 2 years of work experience in product engineering or any combination of education and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
- Computer Skills: Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Office Suite working and designing experience in 3D Solid Model environment(s)
