Altoona Campus Aquatics is accepting applications for seasonal part-time positions for the 2026 summer season. Positions are based at an outdoor aquatics facility and require availability during peak operational hours.

Available Positions

Front Desk / Customer Service Representative

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide customer service to members and guests
• Sell Aquatics Park passes and general admission tickets
• Respond to questions and assist with resolving customer concerns
• Operate point-of-sale and accurately handle cash

Concession Stand Attendant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve food and beverages
• Follow all sanitation food safety and personal hygiene standards
• Use equipment and supplies safely and appropriately
• Follow established food service and inventory procedures
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
• Operate point-of-sale and accurately handle cash

Grounds Crew

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with general upkeep of aquatics park grounds and facilities
• Perform routine cleaning of outdoor areas decks restrooms and common spaces
• Assist with trash removal basic landscaping and facility setup
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisory staff
• Support overall cleanliness and safety standards of the aquatics park

Minimum Qualifications

• Must meet applicable minimum age requirements for the position
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff and supervisors

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior customer service food service or grounds/maintenance experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand walk bend and perform light to moderate physical labor
• Ability to lift and carry light equipment or supplies as needed
• Weekend holiday and evening availability may be required

Schedule

Aquatics Park hours are subject to change but are anticipated to fall within the following range:

MondayFriday: 12:00 PM 6:00 PM

SaturdaySunday: 11:00 AM 6:00 PM

Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts during operational hours.

• Training will be provided
• Employment is seasonal and temporary
