Were looking for a passionate skilled Medical Assistant to support patients of all ages at our Primary Care office in Kokomo IN. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality care and truly change lives. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.
What Youll Do as a Medical Assistant
- Guide patients through their visit and prepare them for provider assessments
- Take vitals prepare exam rooms sterilize instruments and maintain supplies
- Support providers with exams minor procedures and patient documentation
- Perform phone triage manage labs and records and follow infection-control protocols
- Conduct screenings (PHQ-9 Edinburgh GAD-7) and assist with telehealth
- Prepare medications maintain certifications and protect patient confidentiality
- Complete daily/weekly tasks attend meetings and uphold OSHA/CLIA standards
What You Bring as a Medical Assistant
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- High school diploma or equivalency required; Associates degree preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred (CMA NCMA CCMA or RMA)
- 612 months of clinical experience preferred
- A valid drivers license with a driving record meeting Meridians driving policy reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
