Job Summary

Electrical Engineer

Location: Pittsburgh PA

Duration: 2-Year Contract

Design implement and optimize electrical systems for critical energy infrastructure including pipelines compressor stations and storage facilities. This role blends technical engineering with project leadership youll lead small teams collaborate cross-functionally and present to stakeholders while driving innovation in power distribution and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and optimize electrical systems and power distribution networks
Integrate advanced technologies including automation real-time monitoring and energy storage
Implement safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection
Provide technical expertise in power distribution schematics and system layouts
Manage projects from concept to completion within scope timeline and budget
Ensure compliance with safety environmental and regulatory standards

Requirements:

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited); Masters preferred
OR Engineering Technology degree PE license 4 years relevant experience
Knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC NEMA API IEEE)
Proficiency in power system simulation tools (ETAP MATLAB PSCAD or similar)
Knowledge of high-voltage equipment transformers generators and switchgear
Understanding of grid integration and renewable energy systems

Preferred:

PE licensure
PLC/HMI experience
Project Management experience
Pre-FEED FEED or EPC project experience
Commissioning and startup experience
