EMS Coordinator - Part-Time

Job Summary:
The EMS Coordinator is responsible for the coordination between the hospital and local agencies providing Emergency Medical Services. This individual will work collaboratively with area EMS providers to assure strong relations and increased utilization of hospital services. The position is also responsible for organizing routine continuing education programs for EMS providers providing quality assurance and process improvement information and follow ups for EMS providers ensuring hospital has appropriate equipment and hospital provides world-class customer service to EMS providers. Individual will also work in the emergency department when not performing EMS Coordinator duties.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Licensure/Certification:
National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (required)
American Heart Advanced Cardiac Life Support American Heart Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred)
State of Ohio Emergency Services Instructor (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years EMS experience with prehospital or hospital patient contact.
