Swansea Wood School is a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Swansea Wood provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site a full clinical staff nursing staff and direct care staff.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $72000 to $97000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience education licensure certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
JRI Provides Training So That:
- YOU will be able to oversee Swansea Woods education department in hiring supervising team-teaching as part of supervision evaluation and training unit planning curriculum planning technology integration IEP development development and oversight of related systems to support these tasks.
- YOU will be able to work in tandem with Swansea Woods Clinical Nursing Residential Department and Administrative team to provide a shared vision of supportive and enriching programmatic services and to maintain positive relationships with outside agencies families and other involved parties.
- YOU will be able to provide leadership as a meeting chair public school liaison and among others.

Requirements:
- Masters in Special Education or a related field required.
- MA DESE license in Moderate Disabilities grades 5-12 required.
- A MA DESE Special Education Administrator license is required.
- Supervisory experience in an administrative or leadership role.
- Residential setting or Group Home experience strongly preferred.
- Maintain a valid drivers license.
- At JRI you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
