PacArctic LLC a Koniag Government Services company is looking for experiencedInitial Processing (IP) FOIA Analyststo supportPACand our customer in Winchester VA. Please note this is a 100% onsite be able to pass a CI polygraph during the hiring offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and Overview:In this role you will support our customers mission to help maintain transparency in our government by providingadministrative support for incoming Freedom of Information and Privacy Act (FOI/PA) requests. Transparency in our government is not only essential for government accountability but is also integral to our countrys democracy. Through this work you provide citizens with easier access to government while an open and transparent government is essential to our work those working in this position are responsible for safeguarding information that may cause harm if duties and responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:Provide administrative support to search collect and analyze responsive documents for incoming FOI/PA requests and maintain information regarding the documents in a and deliver files ready for FOI/PA processing while maintaining control of classified government databases for background information and conduct record searches on requested review analyze and interpret all responsive prepare and report findings from available relevant information to the customers within established guidelines legal constraints and standard operating performance to ensure the delivery of timely high-quality work consistent with customer specifications while handling multiple projects independently as part of an integrated team and display high self-motivation and the ability to maintain an exceptional level of organization and time management :IP FOIA Analysts will attend an on-site paid six-week training course which will equip you with the skills needed to be successful in this the end of the training course you must pass an assessment the initial training course has concluded you will have 90 days of on-the-job be available to work between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Education/Experience: Must meet one of the following Degree3 years of specialized work experience including providing products and services similar to those outlined in this position experience of an analytical natureMust be able to obtain and maintain US government issued security successfully complete a computer-based assessment on typing skills with a score of 90% accuracy and 11 Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Proficient computer skills including the ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel) Internet Browsers and SharePoint and capable of using complex records systems and computer to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and relate well to to manage individual workflow effectively and improve processes when to perform routine analytical administrative research and recordkeeping to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers both in written and verbal attitude focused on customer to show initiative and commitment to the companys to readily adapt to changing commitment to performing and producing at the highest level of quality at all Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
