Job Summary
This position is Contingent Upon Contract Award.
The Flight School Next (FSN) Program Manager will be responsible for the overall cost schedule and technical performance of the FSN program at Fort Rucker AL. Serving as the primary interface between V2X and the client this role ensures successful execution of all contractual obligations. The Program Manager will lead strategic planning resource allocation and performance management to achieve program objectives while maintaining compliance and fostering collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and internal stakeholders.
- Drive program execution to meet cost schedule and technical requirements.
- Develop and manage program budgets forecasts and resource plans.
- Define long-term program goals and implement strategies to achieve them.
- Establish and enforce program procedures standards and best practices.
- Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular program status updates and executive-level briefings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Aviation Management or related field (Masters preferred).
- Proven experience managing complex aviation or training programs.
- Strong background in cost schedule and technical performance management.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
Preferred Background
- Experience with military or government aviation training programs.
- Familiarity with Flight School Next (FSN) or similar pilot training initiatives.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent program management certification.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and customer service; able to coordinate across multiple teams and disciplines.

Certifications & Training
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent program management certification (preferred).
- FAA regulatory / compliance training (preferred).
- Production control / logistics certification (e.g. APICS / CPIM or equivalent) (preferred).
- OSHA 10 or Safety training (preferred).
Clearance Requirement
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance as required by the contract (Public Trust or Secret level as applicable).
Work Conditions
- Contingent upon contract award.
- Primarily office / production-support setting with frequent interaction with multiple departments and shared services.
