Job Summary

The University of Chicagos Department of Pediatrics Section of Neonatology is seeking full-time clinicians to serve as Hospitalists/Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to three years. Clinical responsibilities will be primarily based at Advent Bolingbrook Hospital.

Appointees will join our multidisciplinary care team and will provide direct clinical management of neonatal patients who present with a full spectrum of medical conditions at Advent Bolingbrook Hospital. We especially welcome applicants with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. The Department of Pediatrics strives to provide an educational and training environment that fosters the next generation of national and international leaders in child health. Our department includes more than 130 full-time faculty members clinical associates and postdoctoral researchers. UChicago Medicine Comer Childrens Hospital is a free-standing 165-bed childrens hospital offering a full complement of pediatric services.

Prior to the start of employment qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois 3) be board-certified or board eligible in either neonatology or general pediatrics and 4) have neonatal care experience.
