Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights (6:30pm7:00am)
Pay: $2422.80/week
Completion Bonus: $2500 per contract (up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Intensive Care / Coronary Care nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role supports critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions in an ICU/CCU setting. Nurses must have strong critical care experience and be comfortable floating to additional nursing departments as needed based on census. Straight night shifts with weekend rotation required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to critically ill ICU and coronary care patients
- Perform continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer and titrate IV medications and critical drips
- Manage ventilated and high-acuity patients
- Respond to rapid changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Float to Med/Surg ED or other departments as needed within scope
- Follow all patient safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NCI or CPI certification required
- PALS certification preferred
- TNCC certification preferred
- Must be willing to work straight nights with weekend rotation
