Ideal candidates will possess the ability to:
- Revise documents under guidance of others
- Operate as a draftsman under the supervision of others; including documenting existing conditions field measurements and picking up redlines
- Provide office support filing documents and project work keeping the library resources in order placing supply orders assist on ad hock projects etc.
- Assist in the preparation at presentations including drawings models reports & finish boards
- Assist in the development and coordination of detailed design concepts
- Documents design and/or technical ideas generated by others
What to expect in this internship:
- Hands-on experience with project work
- 9 weeks participation in the summer internship program
- Participation in collaborative design charrettes and brainstorming sessions
- Opportunity to interact with multidisciplinary teams and learn from experts in various fields
Experience and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an education in Architecture Urban Design Interiors or associated arts
- Interest passion and an eagerness to learn
- Qualified candidates should haveprevious design experience
- SketchUp Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD proficiency is required
- For interiors experience in Photoshop and InDesign would be preferable
* The successful candidate will be expected to live in or relocate to the Boston area for the length of the internship.
