What Youll Do as a School Based Therapist
- Provide individual group and family therapy services within school settings
- Conduct clinical assessments diagnoses treatment planning and discharge planning
- Maintain and manage an assigned caseload while ensuring timely documentation
- Collaborate with school staff families and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans focused on student success
- Support adolescents navigating emotional behavioral and mental health challenges
- Participate in school-based events meetings and resource nights as needed
Qualifications
- Masters degree in social work Mental Health Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Utah licensure as CSW ACMHC AMFT LCSW CMHC or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
- Solid skills in clinical assessment treatment planning and providing therapy.
- Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
- Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing.
