Core Responsibilities

Manage zero hour rebuilds on surface and underground machines ensuring completion on time and within budget.
Plan day to day tasks for the work force.
Conduct inspections and maintenance safely and efficiently ensuring all relevant maintenance records and reports are accurately completed and up to date.
Ensure implementation and verification of safety control measures to mitigate operational risks
Conduct and lead daily pre-starts toolbox meetings and task-based risk assessments.

What we need from you

Minimum 5 years experience in heavy workshop and field maintenance with supervisory experience.
Trade qualified HD Mechanic
Strong leader with a proven ability to recruit motivate and manage a team.
Focused on safety able to identify risks and take action to reduce hazards.
Strong problem-solving analytical and mechanical skills.
Experience with mobile mining equipment and component rebuilds.
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
Skilled in coaching and mentoring workshop staff.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning and organisation skills to monitor performance and schedule work efficiently.
