Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Conduct routine neurological tests and assessments such as electroencephalograms (EEGs) Autonomic Function Testing (Tilt Table) & Neuropsyche screenings.

• Prepare patients for neurological procedures explain the process and answer any questions they may have pre-visit during the visit and post visit.

• Record and report test results accurately and promptly.

• Assist with the maintenance and calibration of neurological equipment.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive patient information.

• Collaborate with the neurology team including physicians and advanced practitioners to provide the best possible patient care.

• Continuously stay current with the latest advancements in neurological technology and techniques.

• Other duties as assigned including but not limited to rooming patients booking appointments and in basket management.

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum of high school diploma required.

• Minimum of 1 year neurology clinical and technical experience required.

• Experience using electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare technology.

• Familiarity with a variety of neurological testing procedures such as evoked potentials and intraoperative monitoring.

• 1 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferably in a neurology or neurodiagnostic department.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and report test results.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and providing high-quality care.
