Job Summary
CLINICAL FACILITATOR
Permanent Full Time
Bon Secours Hospital Cork is part of the Bon Secours Health System which is the largest independent hospital group in Ireland with over 2500 staff including 350 leading consultants. We treat more than 200000 patients annually. We are now inviting applications for the above posts from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.
The successful applicant will be required to always enhance and maintain the highest standards in patient care. You will be required to contribute to the effective use of all hospital resources at your disposal and you will be required to maximise staff development in a learning environment. This will include support motivation and guidance for all employees within your remit.
Candidate Criteria:
- Registered in the General Division of the register kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland.
- Must hold a BSc Nursing Degree.
- A Masters Degree is highly desirable and would be a distinct advantage.
- At least 5 years post registration experience in the clinical area of an acute General Hospital.
- A good knowledge of the Irish Health Service with particular reference to nurse education.
The purpose of this post will be to:
Guide and support nurses and healthcare assistants in clinical practice. Work as part of the Nurse Practice Development team to promote and maintain high standards of nursing care quality improvement projects research and policy development. Promote and maintain a clinical learning environment.
The ideal candidate will require excellent communication skills with a keen interest in education and the ability to enhance motivation.
