We are in an exciting period of transformation that will shape the future of shared services across government. Through the introduction of new technology platforms service lines and clients we are expanding both the scale and sophistication of what we do. This includes transitioning to a multi-ERP platform organisation onboarding new government clients and reimagining how we deliver services to provide a seamless and digital-first customer experience. During this period of transformation the roles will evolve to include the delivery of our service to other clients both existing and/or new.

We now have two new exciting opportunities within HR Operations for experienced HR professionals who can bring proven service knowledge and experience coupled with a passion to help to shape the future of our organisation. The first will focus on Talent Management Workforce Planning & Comp & Bens ensuring accurate and compliant people records seamless administration of core HR data and effective management of talent and reward cycles across client organisations. The second will cover all elements of the employee journey from joining moving to leaving (JML) ensuring that onboarding employment changes and leavers processes are compliant timely and well-controlled with effective integration to payroll identity and access management and other corporate workflows

Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Set the strategic performance direction and annual service cycle plan to achieve operational outputs and outcomes
  • Approve and oversee the implementation and application of policies governing data reward and eligibility to ensure compliance and audit readiness
  • Design and continuously improve talent management cycles (including performance and succession) to strengthen capability and workforce decisionsOR shape and continuously improve onboarding change and leavers workflows to optimise cycle times and user experience
  • Oversee Workforce Administration processes ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of people data and job records
  • Have lead responsibility for obtaining and managing funding for change and continuous improvement activity for their specific service ensuring resources are appropriately charged.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Profession to ensure effective workforce and capacity planning to handle demand peaks
  • Partner with Clients Heads of Profession and Global Process Owners to uphold standards configure annual calendars improve data quality and support system adoption ensuring service processes and SOPs are reviewed enhanced and maintained.
  • Oversee activities within the tiered service delivery model ensuring a move to self-serve and effective triage and resolution
  • Monitor and report on service metrics identifying trends and opportunities for improvement

To do these roles well you will need:

  • Experience in HR operations across either talent workforce data management and reward administrationOR JML and HR lifecycle operations including identity and access management hand-offs including a strong understanding of data privacy pre-employment checks and audit or assurance frameworks
  • Understanding of job architecture allowances and governance for approvals and eligibility
  • Working knowledge of ERP Talent Compensation and Core HCM modules including workflows and configuration principles
  • Ability to use management information to control throughput backlog and performance
  • Experience managing budgets tracking benefits and optimising cost-to-serve performance
  • Demonstrated leadership of managers with a focus on matrix resourcing coaching performance management and escalation handling
  • Ideally CIPD qualified
  • Knowledge and experience of Workday Core HR is highly desirable
