The Governors of this happy and successful primary school (retained Ofsted Good grade June 2023) seek to appoint an experienced and confident Teaching Assistant who can support anEYFS pupil with special educational needs. We are looking for a team player who has relevant recent experience high expectations and a commitment to ensure that the children they support achieve their potential. Applicants should have the ability to identify and support pupils needs proactively and bring their experience of intervention programmes to maximise the child/childrens progress. Excellent interpersonal skills are a prerequisite of the post and a willingness to contribute positively to our team and to become involved in the wider aspects of school life is also important.

Huntington Community Primary School places the highest priority on the safeguarding of children and all applicants will follow a stringent vetting and induction process including online searches on shortlisted candidates. As this post involves contact with and access to children it will be subject to an enhanced DBS check: any offer of employment will be conditional upon the outcome of this check.
