Job Goal: The primary role of the Assessment and Compliance Coordinator is to provide clerical support to FTC-Adult programs including Nursing Certified Nursing Assistant Phlebotomy Technician Automotive Technology HVAC Technology and Welding. This role will also assist with recruiting efforts and various compliance reporting requirements for FTC-Adult Education. Additionally this role oversees the testing lab providing internal and external testing services to students and community members.

  • Complies with privacy rights and safeguards confidential and/or sensitive information pertaining to staff and students.
  • Reacts to change productively and receive and transmit constructive criticism as it relates to job duties.

  • Conduct all official business in a professional and timely manner utilizing district technology resources.
  • Arrive to work and leave work at the time specified by supervisors and attend all required meetings pertinent to the position.
  • Maintains accurate records and filing systems for accountability and audit purposes as required by law and Board policy.
  • Solve practical problems utilizing math functions as needed to complete job duties.
  • Read and interpret documents such as work orders safety rules and handbooks and apply to job duties.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides administrative support to FTC-Adult programs that do no have full-time faculty including planning admissions purchasing compliance and assessment needs. This may include but not limited to maintaining student records and verifying supporting documentation making copies assisting with new student orientations ordering materials and supplies planning for meetings and events proctoring exams and supporting accreditation efforts as needed.
  • This position will require some evening hours as part of the regular working schedule.
  • Maintain student records including grades attendance transcripts etc.
  • Serves as coordinator and proctor for testing lab; includes maintaining multiple vendor certifications from various computer-based testing companies.
  • Support recruitment and promotional efforts of FTC-Adult programs.
  • Assists FTC-Adult Nursing programs as needed.
  • Assists in the planning and coordination of various events including but not limited to CPR courses scrub fittings drug screenings etc.
  • Prepares and copies program materials forms and appropriate documentation.
  • Assists in completing various institutional reports including IPEDS Campus Safety and Security Equal Opportunity and COE/DESE compliance.
  • Contacts prospective students by telephone and/or email.
  • Assists office staff members as needed; answer phone greet visitors covers office for lunch breaks etc.
  • May be required to travel between campuses and participate in off-campus recruitment activities.
  • Carry out all other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to understand and follow Board policies administrative procedures and training and handbook materials.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand or sit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and depth perception. The employee must be able to lift 25 pounds.
