PositionOverview:

The Department of Political Science seeks a temporary Adjunct Faculty member for the Spring 2026 semester.

Responsibilities:

The College of New Jerseys Department of Political Science is seeking a dynamic adjunct instructor to teach our undergraduate East Asian Politics Spring 2026 semester.

Course Description: POL 353: East Asian Politics Mondays & Thursdays 11:00 a.m.12:20 p.m.

This course investigates political history regime change economic growth strategies and security concerns among Japan the Peoples Republic of China Taiwan South Korea and North Korea.

To note:

The instructor is free to make use of the existing syllabi revise them or create their own. The course will ideally be offered in person at TCNJs campus in Ewing NJ.

Minimum qualifications include:

PhD or Masters degree from an accredited institution in political science/government
Prior college-level teaching experience is preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
