Job Summary

Reports clinically to the COMs Physician(s) and administratively to the COMs Director. Under the direction of the physician(s) is responsible for the coordination and delivery of care for COMs patients. Educates patients regarding health promotion illness prevention and disease management. Focus: Adheres to the Keys to Success - Understands and Applies the Mission Vision and Values of COM. Be on their and provides professional medical care for BMG patients by:Assessing the patients medical history and performing physical examinations as appropriate for scope of service of a physician and treating injuries within scope of practice for a physician medications and injections as patients regarding health promotion illness prevention and disease coding and completing diagnosis of patients condition to facilitate appropriate insurance abreast of all pertinent legislation and maintains clinical expertise by:Attending and participating in related seminars conferences and educational offerings as current professional medical and nursing and maintaining affiliation with professional to the overall effectiveness of assigned BMG facility by:Assisting in planning changes in clinic/office procedures to improve the quality and delivery of health in Quality Improvement programs; monitoring quality and outcomes of care in development and compliance of clinical protocols policies and current knowledge of all pertinent legislation and relating to physicians and with physicians to ensure the quality and timeliness for services rendered to other job related duties as RESPONSIBILITIESAssociate complies with the following organizational requirements:Attends and participates in department meetings and is accountable for all information mandatory education annual competencies and department specific education within established annual employee health requirements within established license/certification registration in good standing throughout fiscal patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR) and other certifications as required by position/ utilizes appropriate universal precautions protective equipment and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and to regulatory agency requirements survey process and with established organization and department to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.
