About the Job
In early 2017 Vanderlande began a unique project in the Netherlands: building a fully automated distribution center for Albert Heijn in Zaandam. This cutting-edge facility uses robots and automated cranes to store and move products efficiently.
The goal To deliver all store orders on time and in fullsafely and efficiently. This is the distribution center of the future covering 48000 m² and handling 1800 trucks daily to supply more than 330 Albert Heijn stores.
Now that the center is almost fully operational were looking for new team members to join our on-site service team!
What Youll Do
As a Maintenance Technician youll work with a team to keep the advanced system running smoothly. Your tasks will include:
Performing both routine (preventive) and urgent (corrective) maintenance
Monitoring systems using various software tools
Making sure all technical equipment is in top condition
Keeping accurate records of your work
Helping train and support junior colleagues
Youll also play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and safely working closely with Albert Heijn staff.
What Were Looking For
Were looking for someone who is hands-on responsible and a great team player. You should have:
A completed MBO level 3 or 4 degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
At least 5 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
Good communication skills and a calm focused attitude under pressure
The ability to lead and support your team during technical incidents
Fluent English basic Dutch would be great
A proactive and precise work style
