Lead Mental Health Therapist Mindplace

Location: South region (UK only)
Travel: Regular travel to Bupa Mindplace clinic sites (several times a month; subject to change)
Contract: Permanent Full-time (37.5 hours)
Hours: Flexibility required including evenings and weekends as service needs

What Youll Do

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

  • Deliver high-quality therapy sessions while managing a clinical caseload.

  • Oversee clinical governance audits and compliance to ensure best practice.

  • Mentor and develop clinicians supporting their professional journey.

  • Work closely with operational teams to enhance customer experience and business performance.

  • Adapt and respond quickly to changing service needs driving strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

What Were Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting with the ability to motivate and guide teams through change.

  • Supervisor training and experience in team development.

  • Expertise in mental health therapies (CBT counselling psychology).

  • Strong clinical governance knowledge and ability to manage compliance.

  • Agility and flexibility to work at pace and adapt during times of growth and transformation.

  • Excellent communication influencing and decision-making skills.

One of the following professional qualifications:

  • Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (Doctorate BPS & HCPC registered

  • Accredited CBT Psychotherapist (Postgraduate Diploma BABCP accredited)

  • Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Level 4 Diploma BACP accredited)
