We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and collaborative professional to join the Integrated Operations team as Superintendent Rail Control Production.
In this role youll guide and support a team that manages the accountability for zero 48-hour execution and optimisation of the WAIO railing schedule execution supporting safe and efficient operations across one of the worlds leading heavy haul railways. Youll bring strong strategic thinking inclusive team engagement and problem-solving skills to help optimise daily performance and drive improvements across key interfaces.
Reporting to the Manager Logistics Control this role is based at our Integrated Remote Operations Centre in Perth (City Square) and works on a Monday to Friday roster.
You will play a key role in shaping execution strategies and collaborating across multiple teams including Rail Operations Rail Network Maintenance Rolling Stock Maintenance Supply Chain Scheduling and Maintenance Planning to safely maximise inflow tonnes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
You will have experience in leading teams and managing complex supply chains or processes within rail energy or resources sectors. Your ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across diverse teams and levels with be key to success.
You will thrive in a fast-paced high-visibility role that requires you to collaborate with and influence a broad range of stakeholders. You will demonstrate strong analytical skills excellent judgement and the ability to make decisions confidently. You will have an overriding commitment to safety and be adept at identifying & managing risk in an operational setting.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build trust with stakeholders across levels of a large organisation are essential. Experience in developing high-performing diverse teams is highly valued.
A tertiary qualification in Engineering Business Supply Chain Management or a related field will be highly regarded.
