About the Role:

• Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of all mechanical and electrical works within the wind farm project.
• Works closely with the project team contractors and subcontractors to adhere to project specifications industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections of wind turbine components electrical systems and Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment.
• Verify compliance with project drawings specifications and relevant standards (e.g. IEC IEEE ANSI).
• Monitor and document all inspection activities including test results non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports and quality control.

Quality Assurance:

• Review and approve contractors quality plans and procedures.
• Monitor and audit contractors quality control activities.
• Participate in project meetings and conduct quality audits.
• Identify and address potential quality issues proactively.
• Ensure proper implementation of quality management systems.

Safety:

• Promote a strong safety culture on site
• Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and procedures in the Philippines
• Investigate and report safety incidents.

Client Liaison:

• Maintain effective communication with the client and project stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and quality.
• Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within wind energy or related industries in the Philippines.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine technology components and operations.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g. IEC IEEE ANSI).
• Proficiency in using quality management systems and tools.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
