We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team.

Your opportunity

Working under the direction of the Headteachers the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting childrens learning both individually and in small groups ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality inclusive education. This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering planned lessons supporting children with a range of needs and committed to fostering a safe engaging and positive learning environment. As part of GLF Schools youll also benefit from opportunities for professional development and collaboration across a wider network of supportive professionals.

What we are looking for

  • Hold relevant qualifications including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and an HLTA qualification.
  • Have experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies managing behaviour effectively and supporting pupils emotional and academic development.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills including preparing resources maintaining pupil records and contributing to classroom planning.
  • Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities working well with colleagues children and parents.
  • Be motivated flexible and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: GLF Specialist Point 1 -FTE

Actual Salary: 12480.89 - 14201.22

Hours: 19.5hrs a week (Term time only - 38.6 weeks)

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: Sunday 30th November at 11.59pm

Interview Date: TBC
