Wereincreasingly using audio and video to delivercommodities news tosubscribersandreach new potential customers: we have a thriving podcast portfolio anda growing video news program that was recentlyshortlisted foraFuture ofMediaaward.
Editingpublishingand promoting podcasts and short-form videosare the core of this role butyoullalsohelp to curate and enhance content on ourwebsiteandtake part in coaching and training other team members in digital media skills.
Youllbring a passion for news an instinct for great storytellingandunderstand how toapplyjournalisticbest practices to multimedia content.
Strong audio and video editing skills are essential for this roleideallyyou have experience using them in a newsroom setting.
Youllneed to be collaborative and proactive ready to continually try out new tactics forcreatingpackagingand sharing our the roleyoullalsomonitorcontent performance analytics to track our impact and help us evolve our strategy.
A genuine interest in commodity marketsisa must but we will provide full training so experience in this area is not essential.

Basic qualifications:
3years in adigital production role preferablyin an online or broadcast newssetting
Track recordof producing and editingpodcasts andvideos(usingAudacity Premiere Pro
Basic filming skills forshort-form/mobilevideo
Excellentwriting skillswith strong grasp of spelling and grammar;ability to apply house style
Eye for detail and sharp visual presentation
Sharp editorial judgment ability to spot a good news story
Experience in creating social media content for a variety of platforms e.g. Twitter LinkedIn YouTube Instagram
Instinct for storytelling and anability to find the so what in a story
Understanding of basic economic concepts interest in commodity marketsenergyand raw materials
Comfortable with data and interested in data visualization data underpins the majority of S&P Global Commodity Insights content
Strong communicationskills

Responsibilities
Record podcasts(in person and virtually) and edit them
Plan and edit short video content
Coachvideo presenters andhelp with filming
Publish stories podcasts video and interactive content onwebsite and otheronline platforms
Promote published content on social media channels
Analyzecontent performanceacross web and socialsand use data to drive strategy
Generate ideas to innovatearoundsocial mediaactivity
Help with engagement initiatives toencourage wide participation inmultimediacontent
Co-ordinate with a variety of teams across editorial researchmarketingand productto planand executecontent on a global scale
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $85000 to $95000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic addition to base compensation this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
