TRANSFER OPPORTUNITIES:
The Certificated Transfer Request application isonly available for current monthly Permanent and Probationary San Diego Unified School District certificated non-management employees. This application is to request a voluntary transfer to another school site outside of Post and Bid.A transfer is a voluntary change of an assignment from one site to another site. Human Resources maintains lists for job titles/classifications of individuals who meet the transfer criteria.
If you are a substitute hourly employee you are not eligible for a transfer.Please exit out of this application review the Districts job opportunities page and apply for open positions that you are interested in.
Approved transfer requests through this posting will remain active from the date the application is submitted through June302026.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Transfer Application Process
- Online transfer application.A completed onlinetransferapplication must be submitted electronically. Paper applications are not accepted.
- Human Resources will review the transfer application and determine eligibility for the position for whichyou submitted a request for transfer.
- The District covers a large portion of San Diego to theDistrict Area Map at thisLinkand make sure to identify any and all specific area(s) you are interested in working in.
- When completing your application you will need to identify the specific job title andschool site(s) you wish to be considered for a transfer.
- If approved you will receive an email notificationwithyour application status and expiration date of the transfer request.
- Human Resourceswill notnotify employees when the transfer request remain on the transfer list for anothertime period you must submit another transfer one transfer application can be submitted per posting period.
