Technical Program Manager – Unified Monitoring Strategy

Team Red Dog is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager Unified Monitoring Strategy to join our Global Technology clients infrastructure this role youll lead enterprise-wide observability initiatives focused on Splunk deployment Azure monitoring integration and unified visibility across systems. Opportunity Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of a unified monitoring strategy across a large-scale enterprise environment. Youll work at the intersection of program management infrastructure and observability helping to shape how systems are monitored and optimized for reliability and performance. As a trusted advisor youll partner with leadership and technical teams to implement modern tools streamline processes and influence infrastructure operations at a global level.

How you will make an impact:

• Define and execute a multi-phase Splunk deployment strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Drive governance OKRs and risk management for observability and monitoring initiatives.
• Partner with infrastructure teams (Linux Scheduler Storage ETX Cloud) to establish a unified monitoring framework across compute storage and network environments.
• Lead deployment configuration and integration of Splunk with existing systems ensuring scalability and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to onboard data sources standardize alerting and deliver actionable dashboards.
• Champion best practices for proactive monitoring automation and root-cause detection.
• Establish KPIs retention policies and compliance standards for observability data.
• Manage relationships with vendors and executive stakeholders to align on licensing performance and strategic roadmaps.
• Deliver documentation and training for operational teams to enable adoption and knowledge sharing.

The expertise you bring:

• 5 years of experience in technical program management within enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Proven success deploying and managing Splunk (Enterprise or ITSI) and Azure Monitoring at scale.
• Strong understanding of high-performance computing (HPC) environments and hybrid cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus Grafana Datadog or Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of SRE principles and incident management practices.
• Certifications such as PMP Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Splunk Certified Admin/Architect preferred.
• Experience with automation/orchestration tools (Terraform Ansible CI/CD) a plus.
• Background in Azure AWS or GCP integrations.
