Context
The position is responsible of short to long term material planning in complex business environment. Candidate needs to deal with business dynamics translate demand & customers requirements to stretched by rational de-coupled supply plan. He or she needs to be able to address business priority and lead cross sectoral collaboration to work towards the same goal. He or she should able to quantify impact & trade-offs between different demand-supply scenarios based on facts & data including risks & opportunity on the business & costs. Drive for timely and quality decisions making at managerial level and is able to independently work with business stakeholders and drive for results. Candidates needs to proactively seek on continuous improvements both content and process . Preferably with new product introduction experiences.
Requirements
Msc in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering or Business Administration with solid experience or equivalent working and thinking level.
Solid experience in working with process frameworks and improvement tools and techniques.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis
Interprets and analyzes relevant data on business planning to understand root causes of issues and set priorities for resolutions/improvements. Communicates outcomes to other senior planners. Focuses on tactical level.
Cost Management & Investment Decisions
Identifies cost saving opportunities for own job scope and proposes solutions. Provides information for investment decisions for internal and external parties to achieve business growth. Builds an overview of resources needs.
Business Acumen
Has a clear understanding of the vision and mission of the department. Knows business dynamics and applies this knowledge to contribute to improvement projects.
Supply Chain Management Knowledge
Understands supply chain processes related to the department.
Monitoring & Reporting
Owner of key performance indicators draws insights and leverages them to drive root cause analyses by the team.
Communications (External & Internal)
Communicates effectively. Method & frequency in line with urgency and importance. Offers support in improvement of communication within established communication systems and procedures
Stakeholder Management
Actively maintains relationships with direct counterparts and management level. Provides support to the senior business planner in the stakeholder management by arranging meetings events and supporting materials.
Continuous Improvement
Solves problems in a structured way using problem solving methods. Standardizes own job scope. Leads medium sized initiatives and/or contributes to larger initiatives led by others.
People Development
Acts as buddy and trainer for new hires joining the team. Advises peers on ways of working.
