At CGI we are looking for a UX Designer to join an international project.
Requirements:
-Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- 6 years of professional experience as a UX Designer Product Designer or Interaction Designer.
- Proven ability to design intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences for web and/or mobile.
- Strong proficiency with Figma Adobe XD Sketch or equivalent UX design tools.
- Experience conducting user research usability testing and heuristic evaluations.
- Ability to create wireframes prototypes and detailed user flows that communicate interaction intent.
- Knowledge of design systems information architecture and interaction design principles.
- Understanding of frontend development basics (HTML CSS JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and problem-solving approach.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research interviews and usability testing to understand user behaviors needs and motivations.
- Translate research findings into user personas journey maps and experience flows.
- Create wireframes mockups prototypes and interactive design concepts for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with UI Designers Product Owners and Developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation fidelity.
- Define and maintain design standards guidelines and interaction patterns to ensure product consistency.
- Use data and feedback to iterate and improve design solutions based on performance and usability metrics.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.
- Present and justify design decisions to stakeholders clearly articulating rationale and user impact.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with UI design or visual design systems.
- Familiarity with design thinking and Lean UX methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of accessibility design motion design or interaction animation principles.
- Familiarity with user analytics tools (Hotjar Google Analytics Mixpanel etc.).
- Exposure to usability testing tools like Maze UserTesting or Optimal Workshop.
