Purpose of Job
Step into the frontline of cyber defense. Were looking for a Platform Engineer - Network Security to design implement and safeguard next-generation security platforms across firewalls WAFs SASE SSL VPNs NAC PKI and beyond. Youll work hands-on with Check Point Palo Alto Cisco and Microsoft Azure building robust defenses that span from perimeter protection to cloud security zero-trust segmentation and global load balancing.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Technology experience in this area includes but is not limited to:
Perimeter Security including firewalls intrusion detection/ prevention (IDS/IPS) anti-malware and threat prevention (Check Point Palo Alto Networks and Cisco).
Cloud network security (Check Point and Microsoft Azure).
Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) SaaS / on Prem / Azure.
SSL VPNs.
Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).
Knowledge Skills Experience & Qualifications
Experience:
- Designing Implementing and Supporting Next Generation Firewalls Web Application Firewalls and Secure Web Gateways.
- The Platform Engineer responsible for network security is in addition expected to have a foundational knowledge of enterprise networking (routing & switching)
- Working with Managed Service Providers and Professional Service Partners
- Intermediate to advanced technology certification in the given area such as the PAN Generalist and Specialist qualifications
- Entry level service management certification such a ITIL Foundation.
