SAP ABAP/BTP Technical Consultant
EYs GDS Tax Technology teams mission is to develop implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EYs core Tax practice youll develop a deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding ERP database data analytics and programming skills.
Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.
EYs GDS Tax Technology team members work side-by-side with the firms partners clients and tax technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value-add improve efficiencies and enable our clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Tax.
GDS Tax Technology works closely with clients and professionals in the following areas: Federal Business Tax Services Partnership Compliance Corporate Compliance Indirect Tax Services Human Capital and Internal Tax Services. GDS Tax Technology provides solution architecture application development testing and maintenance support to the global TAX service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists project teams in estimating the architecture design effort and also develop/ review/ approve architecture designs.
- Be subject matter expert to program/project teams in the plan design and delivery of technical solutions.
- Lead & involve in solution design and development of Tax tools and technology solutions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other senior leaders of IT on program strategies and plans and negotiate quality solutions
Qualification & Experience Required
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Software Engineering / Information Technology / MBA / MCA.
- An overall 4-8 years experience in SAP ABAP BTP Hana Cloud Project Implementations.
- Hands-on experience in minimum of 2 to 3 SAP S/4 Hana end to end implementations.
- Sound knowledge in Solution design Integrations of SAP & non-SAP systems and Application development tools using BTP framework.
- Scrum and Project management.
- Experience and understanding of technology tools.
SAP ABAP / BTP:
- Various implementation methodologies.
- Migration of SAP ECC / S4 to latest S4 systems.
- Expertise in SAP ABAP Fullstack CAPM RAP BTP framework and HANA Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of technology trends across IT and digital and how the SAP S/4 HANA solution can be applied to address problems and opportunities.
- Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills team handling analytical skills presentation skills ability to work under pressure
- Identify and manage Risks and Issues Keep leadership informed
- Knowledge in Front end UI application development using CAPM Fiori is preferred.
- Strong experience on HANA configurations Strong technical background analytical and problem-solving skills are required
