Summary:
We are looking to fill the position of a Developer for Hotfix Governance who takes care of a running maintenance process for SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
You will be responsible and supporting the definition and implementation of the maintenance strategy. This includes aligning the maintenance strategy with different stakeholders and realization for SAP S/4HANA Cloud. You are one of the contact persons for development and for teams outside the S/4 organization.
The Role:
The S/4HANA Hotfix Governance (HFG) team ensures a stable and reliable solution which is delivered to all S/4HANA cloud customers at the same time. Main goal is to keep customer systems stable and not to introduce regression issues. For this Hotfix Governance is a key player in the provisioning of our cloud solutions to our customers. Every second week all hotfixes ( corrections) are collected delivered to a validation landscape and finally to the customer systems. For the whole process the team is responsible that the developers are following the stringent rules to create a hotfix. Besides that the team permanently does risk assessments and finally decides whether a Hotfix Collection can be delivered or not. The HFG team is currently located in Walldorf. Budapest as a second location is currently in setup.

Your strong analytical and problem solving skills are helping us in the everyday challenges. Project management skills are a lever for our architecture projects. You have a high service and customer orientation and you have good oral and written communication skills in English.
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Development Quality Management or technical consultancy.

The Public ERP Cloud delivery department drives and executes all required activities based on an end-to-end approach and facilitates all functions from development engagement to design production and service of our productive customer landscapes. Within this department the Solution Architecture & Delivery Governance team is a high-profile team that is among others defining and driving the general architecture of our Cloud Solution the automation and standardization of the operations tasks and the enablement of the underlying infrastructures. As bridge between development and operations we strive for reliable automated operations and improving the quality of the product and all other involved parts. This includes maintenance governance as well which is driven by the S/4HANA Hotfix Governance team
