About the role
The Accounting Administrator plays a crucial role in managing a companys financial operations. As the Accounting Administrator you will serve on the Finance team managing financial records managing end-to-end accounts payable and receivable process reconciliations and preparing financial statements.
Location: Ottawa Ontario Canada (Remote)
What youll be doing
- Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
- Maintain accurate and current financial records at all times.
- Manage accounts payable and receivables process invoices and manage payments.
- Manage purchase order matching receiving and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
- Set up and maintain vendor profiles
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Assist with tax filings
- Provide support throughout audits
- Monitor and manage cash flow and expenditures
- Provide financial analysis and forecasting support
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities including accruals and reporting
- Collaborate with procurement sales and finance teams to resolve invoice and purchase order issues
- Embrace and support Computacenters mission and core values.
What you have
- Minimum of a bachelors degree in accounting finance or equivalent job-related experience is required.
- 4 years of proven work experience in accounting or similar role
- Proficiency with accounting software MS Excel and financial modeling
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to establish a rapport and build professional relationships among all levels of the organization.
- Excellent employee customer service skills including being proactive and responsive with diligent task follow through skills.
- Possess a strong sense of urgency and is extremely organized and process driven.
- Proficient in Microsoft products (Word Excel Outlook)
- Solid time management skills a can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
