Job Summary

- Salary: 28598 per annum pro rata (14.82 per hour)
- Hours: 27.5 hours per week Monday Friday 8.45am - 3.15pm 38 weeks (term time only)
- Contract: Permanent required to start beginning of January 2026.

Charsfield CE Primary School are seeking an engaging and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their high-performing family school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to bring their skills and positive attitude into a supportive environment where you will play a key role in helping children achieve their full potential.
You will be committed to inclusion and will have a dedicated attentive and patient manner with students. Confidentiality is a must as is a high level of numeracy and literacy.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- to teach whole classes across the school with specified work as directed by the class teacher
- to plan prepare deliver and mark specified learning activities to classes modifying and adapting activities as necessary.
What we are looking for:
- HILTA qualification or in the process of completing it
- Knowledge of behaviour techniques
- Confidence in dealing with pupils.
- Understanding and support for the principles of inclusion for all pupils
- Support in providing the highest quality learning experience to have high expectations for all children
